Why are you mad?

Quote of the week:

"Create the life you can't wait to wake up to."

Hello friends!

This week has been a whirlwind of a week!

It started so rocky with an old friend and now it's steadily getting more awkward. Do you know why? Because I did something they didn't expect me to do.

I took myself out of this box that they created for me. I did something to better myself that had nothing to do with them.

It didn't hurt them in any way. This person didn't know about something that doesn't concern them anyway and the way they blew up about it showed me everything I needed to know about this person.

There's no going back.

You know, one thing about me is that things are either on or off. There usually is no in-between.

I can be friendly (hi and bye), and that's all you're gonna get from me.

I don't care how long I've been knowing a person. I've learned the hard way that that shit does not matter one bit.

Like I mentioned last week, I've been asking the Universe for certain things and when things shift, I believe that's a sign that they are not meant to be in my future at all.

It's okay. In the end, it's for the best!

In other news, I'm starting a 30-day challenge! Keep reading for more info on that.

Something worth telling:

This section contains something I've been burning to tell you!

I'm creating a new portion of my YouTube life that consists of life advice that I wish I had known when I was younger, or even things I wish I had known last week lmao.

People often come to me for life advice, literally almost daily.

I'm like, girl! I'm giving out golden advice to only one person, I bet other people could benefit from this as well. Surely, other people are going through the same thing.

If you're interested in content like that, be sure to check out my YouTube Channel every Sunday.

Books I'm currently reading:

This section is all about books: monthly tbr, wrap-ups, current reads, favorite books, book recs, etc.

I'm finishing up with Black Cake this week as well as Magnolia Parks!

It's been quite a busy week for me, so I haven't had much time to read.

March TBR:

Affirmations

  • Everything is always working out even better than I could have imagined
  • Universe, thank you for blessing me with another day
  • I believe in myself
  • I love myself
  • I am a magnet for success

What's next?

This section gives you an idea of what's coming up this week.

As mentioned above, I plan to include a section of life advice videos on my YouTube channel. I did a few videos before and they were well received. Let me know if that's something you're interested in!

Happy Sunday!

Cheers!

Quote of the week: "Consistency doesn't mean never messing up, it means never giving up." Hello friends! What a week it has been! I just got back from a family vacation. We went to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Here's what that trip taught me: If you want to test the dynamic of your family, go on a family vacation to Disney World. I. Am. Telling. You. It will highlight so many things about people you didn't even know was a thing. I was pissed the entire trip pretty much. I had to spend...

Quote of the week: "The dreams of yesterday are the hopes of today and the reality of tomorrow." - Robert Goddard Hello friends! My whole life has changed suddenly! I started practicing daily affirmations and when I tell you, everything has changed. It has! I used to feel so terrible on the inside about a lot of things that we'll get through as we progress through more newsletters, but it's been hard for me for a long time. I've been through a lot, but one thing has remained consistent - I've...

Quote of the week: "Repetition dissolves disbelief." Hello friends! The last two weeks have gone by so fast! I completely lost track of time and my days. It all started with this work conference that I went to in San Antonio, Texas. Have you ever been there? The weather was absolutely beautiful! It was windy with a high of 72 degrees most days. It was a huge contrast to what it was like in Dallas, Texas at the time. Have you ever been to Dallas? The weather in Dallas was cold and gloomy... so...
